STAGE SOUDURE 

   Mes sculptures s’ancrent dans une réflexion autour de la fragmentation. Elles proposent
un dialogue entre l’éclatement de la forme et la suspension du temps avec une référence à la
chronophotographie.
   Déconstruites, éclatées, les formes se libèrent. L’air semble s’y engouffrer, traversant la matière
pour la rendre presque animée.
   Je joue sur les contrastes entre le poids du métal et la légèreté des vides qu’il ménage. Comme dans
un arrêt sur image, ces sculptures semblent figer un instant de mouvement en pleine expansion.

My sculptures are rooted in a reflection on fragmentation. They propose a dialogue between the shattering of form and the suspension of time. I split the silhouettes into metallic shards where air circulates, where space insinuates itself. Each piece becomes a choreographed composition, playing on the contrasts between the weight of the metal and the lightness of the voids it creates. Like a freeze-frame, these sculptures seem to capture a moment of movement in full expansion. The aim here is to capture the decomposition of gestures. Deconstructed, shattered, the forms are liberated, and the splashes of color or the raw metallic surfaces breathe life and movement into each piece. Air seems to rush in, passing through the material to make it almost animated. Each fragment, like a frozen moment, refers us back to the experiments of chronophotography where movement is cut up, analyzed, then suspended in time.
